...and we're staying in T-Town.
Anyone know the best way to get tickets?
Also, Bama fans - will you be our friends and give us some tips of places to check out around campus?
TIA.

The day of the game there will be plenty of guys standing around holding tickets in the air. Buy from them. Totally legit.

Just stay on the Southern Bypass at the I65 exit, and you guys will be fine. Plenty of motels, truck stops and crack whores.

Montgomery would be a much better option OP. just stay on the east side of town as it is about 30 minutes closer to auburn than staying downtown.
Crime is literally a non issue as long as you don't wander into the ghetto (like any city)

I've never had any trouble in Montgomery. Is it really that much different than other medium sized cities across the south with similar demographics? I always felt as safe as I would in Mobile, Birmingham, Baton Rouge etc.

Stay at the EastChase development - There's a Hampton Inn and Hilton is about to be built. Eat/drink at Firebirds or Bonefish - if you want a really nice meal Charles Anthony's is good. Get off exit 9 on Taylor Rd. Auburn is only about a 35-45 minute drive from there.

Stay on the east side if you can. East chase area.
Crime in Montgomery is similar to other cities it's size. Has a great DT entertainment area and hotels.

Going on an sec trip and not staying on or near campus with current students of the University is for the birds.
