The University of Georgia football program as a whole is a big bust.

I was expecting Month Adams to be on that list. But he ended up becoming a very good player late in his career.

Another one that had such great potential, but fell to the darkside.... Jimmy Johns.

Yep. Feel bad for him though. His mother is a lunatic.

If we're also on the basketball route, I feel like Trevor Lacey never lived up to his hype. Then again, I don't fault him because Grant couldn't coach worth a shite, unless it pertained to defense.

Russell Shepard.

Didn't Gameday do a segment with him before he even played a game?

Demetrius Summers: (5* consensus APB in the mid 2000's) kicked off the team when Spurrier got here for multiple arrest IIRC.

Shaq Roland: 5* WR that couldn't keep out of Spurrier's doghouse.

And some that were way less talented than their star ratings would indicate.

Brendan Nosovitch: 4* DT QB from Pennsylvania that never could break above Mitch or Orth, got moved to TE and transferred to Boston College at TE.

I am greatly saddened that no one has said Dolly Parton yet.

Regardless of year or timeframe...

I'm going to say Kiehl Frazier and Star Jackson for my two.

Kiehl Frazier was so bad, he made Jeremy Johnson look like a pro prospect, and he was a 5 star player by almost every recruiting site. He switched to safety at Auburn, and went on to play at Ouachita Bapstist in Arkansas.

Star Jackson was supposed to Nick Saban's first great quarterback at Alabama, that he recruited. He ended up buried on the depth chart and transferred to Georgia State...but couldn't start there, either. IIRC, he was a highly sought after 4 star.

Much much bigger busts than these.

Billy Ray- National player of the year twice in high school. Had 130 scholarship offers. Held every state of Georgia passing record and 7 national records including most total yards by a QB. Joe Namath said he was the most talented QB he had ever seen at ANY level. Signed with Alabama. Rode the bench for 2 years and tranferred. Was beaten out by a WALK ON.

Linnie Patrick- Number one back in high school in the nation. Danny Ford said he would win 4 heisman's if he started all 4 years. Another coach, may have been Bruce Arians said he was the most complete back he's ever seen and could possible go straight to the pro's if it was allowed. Never won the starting job and just faded away.

just a couple I am familiar. those guys you mentioned weren't in the same stratosphere as these two and there are many more.

Ok, when a football coach has bigger boobies then all of the dancers at our local strip club... that is worrisome.
