For the handshake to work, the SEC would have to declare KC as SEC country. They haven't.

Well, yes, obviously.

K.C. Missouri has declared that it is officially SEC country.
Okay, but what does this have to do with the best BBQ? Those two things seem completely unrelated.

This is not the bourbon thread. This is the BBQ thread.

I can't believe you yanks and southeast fried chicken eaters are debating good BBQ in the presence of Texans.

Like me sitting in a Newark airport talking about the great pasta in Texas.

Don't be a food nazi, good food such as BBQ can be found outside of Texas, just like good Pasta can be had in Texas. Cooks and chefs travel around and teach their craft to others who will continue to spread the good food everywhere.

Shouldn't you be tending to a failing power grid somewhere?

I enjoy these BBQ threads. I'm originally from Louisiana, and everyone knows we've focused our food talents elsewhere.

I don't think I've ever had KC or Memphis BBQ... just Carolina and Texas style.

I'd love to sit down with a little of each style and compare flavors. Anyone know of a place in the DC area where one can sample a bit of each?

It's about time you guys took back your region. Now you need to move heaven and earth to keep the Chiefs and Royals.

I'm confused, what does anywhere in Mizzery and "best BBQ" have to do with each other?

Already been established that Arkansas is the center of the BBQ universe. Hell even our mascot is delicious. The only state that borders the states home to KC, Memphis, Austin, OKC & St Louis , and far enough away from that bullshite wannabe mustard and vinegar that we never have to even smell it.

Everyone welcome. Y'all get your tricks and come and take a night.

There is no kind of food that is great in Ohio. That's a fact, not opinion.
