Very selective on that start year...

In 2021 NIL went into effect AND the transfer portal removed the requirement that athletes had to sit out a year after transferring. So 2021 is when the new era of football began.

Some of you are such candy asses you invent reasons to be the victim.

Vols benefited from playing a Charmin soft schedule.

Where did UT's strength of schedule rank in conference each year?

2021 - 9th
2022- 3rd
2023 - 7th
2024 - 5th
2025 - 11th

Btw, that is counting Texas and Oklahoma's schedule in each of those years. Removing them before last year it moves '21 to 7th, and '23 to 6th.

So, 2025 is the only year UT's SOS has been in the bottom half of the conference.

Bama and UGA are the only SEC teams with SOS ranked above Tennessee every year from '21 through this season.

You are an idiot. Tennessee has beaten Bama twice in that time period including Bryce Young. Also beat Jayden Daniels in Death Valley which Bama didnt do. We also won at OU which Bama didnt do. Also won at Vandy which Bama didnt do

whoopie. LSU has two wins against us in like the last 20 years, same as you poors.

Fat Botch Jones ain't "him". He's benefited from Florida being awful and playing nobody out of conference.

Zero championships since 1998.

Texas has only played in the SEC from the 2024 season. Their record prior to that was in the minor leagues.

Big Xii 2021 - 2023 (25-14)
SEC 2024 - 2025 (20-5)

Based on overall record. Anything surprise you?

Top five:

Georgia: 61-6
Alabama: 53-11
Ole Miss: 48-14
Texas: 45-19
Tennessee: 43-18

Bottom five:

Arkansas: 29-31
Mississippi State: 28-32
Florida: 28-32
Auburn: 26-34
Vanderbilt: 24-35

That an Alabama fan didn't at least start with 2020 is very surprising.

probably alot like Aggies without Johnny. Manziell, LSU without Joe Burrow...etc.

The biggest difference now is that that OC can go out and find a comparable player that fits his system and already has a couple years under his belt...do the drop off shouldn't be as bad as the old days when you had to plug in a true sophomore with no experience.

And 3 out of those four years Baylor and Kansas State were your league champions. Texas beat the lowly 18th ranked Oklahoma State in the championship game. That shows you just how weak the Big 12 was. But hey, the topic was SEC teams, not Texas prior to the SEC.

We beat Auburn and Florida?

What the actual hell, guys? We're in like our worst football stretch in program history!

I'm actually shocked that we weren't the worst team in the SEC for that whole stretch. We certainly are now.

They play Florida, Georgia, and Alabama every season. During that stretch they also played LSU, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M. Feel free to list all the SEC Teams that played more top teams than those each year in that span
