Yes the strategy to beating A&M is to hope

It's not unreasonable to think you could finish 6-6 with a losing record in the SEC.

you think we’re losing Arkansas? While mathematically possible, it’s unreasonable.

You barely escaped Kentucky and MSST.

Both of those teams are also winless in SEC play.

So no, not unreasonable.

This is a completely different team. There's a reason they call it the "past"

I'm feeling pretty good about 12-0. Something really wrong would have to happen for that, like losing our QB.

This team is deep and loaded,
and it remembers last year and has focused for a year on doing the things to keep it from happening agaim.

Aggie will finish 13-0 and lose first game in playoffs.

Did… did Texas not beat those teams by as much or more than Texas A&M beat Arkansas…?

A team that’s also winless in SEC play?

Gotta love another classic aggie self-own

We keep hearing this every week.

At some point, it’s ok to say that this is a good team, in a good place, hitting on all cylinders.

Elko has put together a group of great guys who believe in themselves. We may slip up … I don’t think anyone is predicting an undefeated season. But continuing to say week after week, “Yeah, but there’s no way they’ll beat xxx,” seems to be getting repetitive.

You could be, but I haven't seen it yet to be honest. Good win over Notre Dame, but that's basically the only ranked team you've beaten this year.

Your SEC schedule has basically been the bottom of the SEC, missing Kentucky. You've played 5 SEC teams who have a combined 5 conference wins.

None of these teams are terrible compared to other conferences. You only beat Auburn by 6, but Auburn power wise is somewhat around 25th.

Your most difficult SEC opponent of the year is going to be Mizzou - who might end the season not ranked.

It's kind of hard to tell. If not for the Notre Dame win, I honestly wouldn't think much at all about your record.

Don’t let it get to you amigo. Either the Aggies win, or they don’t, the next game.

And absolutely nobody on here affects that outcome at all.

All will work itself out in the playoffs (if the Ags make it).

You want to play this game?

Texas beat State by 7 in OT, 45-38.

We beat State by 22, 31-9.

No, their schedule is set up perfectly. I think we could upset them but it depends on how our true freshman qb plays. Not that Pribula was much better but I could see us making it an ugly game like we did against Vandy

I’d rather just go head to head

Arch needed just one play to exceed Reed’s output in 60 minutes in the biggest game in aggie football history

Thanks again for starting a thread on Oct 28 about how much better you think a&m is. It was hilarious watching it spectacularly backfire on you last time. Will be even more delicious this time

I admit I was wrong, and I tipped my cap to Texas at the time, as I do now.

That being said, you’re delusional if you think Reed or Arch are the same players this year that they were back then. This offense is far, far better than last year’s, and if you can keep us out of the end zone in 2025, I’ll never say a mean thing about Texas on this site again. You can bookmark it.

Texas, most unfortunately, lost to Napier’s squad by a score of 21-27.

Texas A&M, surprisingly, defeated the Gators by a score of 34-17.

Still trying to convince everyone that Arch and his donghorns are actually going to accomplish something this season. Either he does not know shite about football or he is just the the dumbest donghorn fan on the tRant. It is hard to tell sometimes. I have never had an alter much less 6 of them but it must be hard trying to keep all of them straight when you are pretty ignorant as well. His only argument left is past history.

poooor xwing/.../menu2, extremely butt hurt that A&M is having the season he thought the donghorns would be having.

You needed a fluke miracle to beat MSU and a laughable coaching job by Stoops in OT to squeak by the worst team in the league.

Texas is not a good team.

Neither is Arky. But they have maybe the best offense in the SEC. And while their defense is bad enough for even Arch to march on same, you better hope Green isn’t feeling it.

Could easily see Arky hang 35+ on Texas in Austin.
