If tweet fails to load, click here. Don't care if the appeal is granted and finds in favor of NCAA. They still need to be held accountable for backing this kid fully.

You are going to hold the whole program responsible for what one jack off booster said?

No. DId you see their AD's response? They could've told this kid to get lost. They did not.

Everyone bends the rules and gets away with what they can. Tech are a bunch of shitheads, but whatever.

I am out of the loop, what did did he do?

Priceless coming from a Georgia fan.
Dontrell Glover, Bo Walker, James DeLoach, Jonathon Taylor, Smael Morton, Trevor Etienne say hello. Georgia players that actually had criminal charges but were allowed to stay and play for Georgia.
Hypocrisy at its finest.

You can't allow that kid to play.

The playoff comittee could just refuse to rank them all year.
I think that would send a good enough message.
If any team can just get a friendly judge to get out of whatever trouble they're in, the NCAA can't do anything, but the playoff comittee can just act like they don't exist.

I have no doubt they have paid a ton to Kessler and it appears it will be more.
And they have paid over 4 mil for an average QB that if he plays and they make the playoff will lose.
And the best part of all, there is zero chance they will make a super league now if that’s where all this is headed.

If Tech wins the big 12 just make them play on the road the first round. Would be great if it were at Texas or Georgia.

I know it won’t happen, but I would love to see every team on TT’s schedule to refuse to play them. Yes they would have to forfeit but let TT go 12-0 without being able to play a single game and that degenerate gambler at QB finishes the year with ZERO stays.
That would be justice. TT would be a laughing stock.

I just think we need to send the Aggies at them in perpetuity as a conference bylaw where we watch the rejects roshambo each other
You can tell these freaks miss it...

Exactly! If you cheer for an elite college team you should probably stfu because your school is dirty as frick, its just not in the public light

They won't even play for the conference title. The other AD's in the conference aren't going to allow it.

Nobody is bitching that Texas Tech went out and paid top dollar for a QB. Every school that can, WILL pay whatever they need to, in order to try to win. It's the new norm, and probably the old norm too.
What is at issue, is that this guy has admitted to gambling, including on his own team, including taking the under on his own team.
You can NOT trust him at this point.
Let's say I am your QB. I am driving down the field late, and throw a crucial interception (say, exactly what Carson Beck did).
Now, let's say I have an admitted history of betting on my own games. Including taking the under on my own team.
Did I throw the game? Well, what were the odds...
And that's not what any sport at any level wants creeping into the fans' minds. That's something that could destroy the sport completely.

You made 11 posts the week you registered, went over 6 years without posting, then you posted 70 times in the last three days. That is weird.

Just occasionally reading etc. This topic got me interested enough to post again. I love to poke the bear especially when it’s warranted. The holier than attitudes got me posting.

You really have to stop pointing the finger.
First, most fans whose teams have their issues don’t like it.
Say for instance Georgia. They are not happy with their players getting in trouble.
But here’s the big difference between the Georgia players you referenced and Sorsby. They don’t have to worry about their players being focused on winning the game. Sorsby has bet unders on a team he played on. He is a degenerate gambler. Do you not see the difference?
There’s a reason this is a rule in all leagues (every single sports league all around the world) that is black and white.
I actually think the Texas Tech coach is in a really bad spot and if it was his choice would rather not have to deal with any of this.
But Cody is leading everything on this and his ego cannot see he’s doing more harm to the team he supports.
