Let's break it down:

vs Colorado State: Guaranteed win (and if UT doesn't win, woe unto the Longhorns!)

at Michigan: Playing the defending champs in Ann Arbor is NOT going to be remotely easy.

vs UTSA: Not even gonna talk about this.

vs Louisiana-Monroe: Should be a blowout.

vs Mississippi State: Arguably the second-weakest team in the SEC right now. Very easy.

vs Oklahoma: Not going to be easy at all. The Sooners have a good team.

vs Georgia: This matchup alone makes Texas' schedule harder than a bunch of other teams' schedules.

at Vanderbilt: Okay, so Texas plays the two weakest teams in the conference. I can understand why this would make some think they have an easy schedule, but you can't focus on just these two.

vs Florida: Basically a gimme. Probably the fourth-worst team in this fine conference.

at Arkansas: Third worst team, but we all remember that Arkansas is like a crazy ex: you never know what they'll do next.

vs Kentucky: This one could be interesting. UK is solid.

at Texas A&M: No way in HELL does Texas have a shot here. Arguably going to be the second-toughest game of their season (after Georgia).

So, in summary: Texas plays two elite and one very good team that hates their guts, and the rest of the schedule is trash. Add it all up, and you get a schedule that is not the easiest in the country. Our schedule might be easier overall.

I will gladly take any questions, praise, flaming, or vitriol that people would like to direct at me.

Michigan is going to be a shadow of itself from 2023.

They might win this game by 30.

Right

Not because of the quality of the team, but because of the circumstances. Kyle Field might set an attendance record.

You literally just proved how easy their schedule will be next year...

Unless that was your intention and it whooshed right over this wet brain

Ignoring the A&M fandom in the OP, the fact Texas plays Michigan pretty much offsets the easy draw in SEC play to make their schedule overall of average difficulty for SEC teams.

Their conference schedule is a bit on the easy side. But overall it's a solid schedule.

That game ain’t a gimme. Traylor is a very good coach. According to CBS, they ended last season ranked ahead of 6 SEC programs (& only 3 slots behind A&M).

It is easy in comparison to the rest of the SEC’s schedule, and it is on the weaker end of SEC schedules. Yes, they play in Ann Arbor, but I would have much preferred to play TCU in 2023 than 2022.

I read an article the other day the JJ’s replacement at QB is supposed to be Michigan’s version of Jalen Milroe. Not sure why they want to mold their offense to look more like Bama’s, who they beat.

Would agree with this. We also have a home & home OOC with tOSU starting next year. So, 2025 will likely be one of the tougher schedules in the conference.

There are going to have to be some rules .....

UT is U of Tennessee.

UTa is U of tejass shorthooerns, Austin.

USA is United States of America by God!

SEC is Southeastern Conference of original members and First Expansion (also known as God's Expansion for historical significance) who were original members of the SoCon and are the Flagship University Institutions of the Original Confederate States.
