O never said he talked to Holtz. He said he spoke with someone from LA Tech.
LSU brought their own locker room cooling fans/equipment to Texas for a reason. Not for shitz and giggles.

I was in the locker room (they didn't know I was there, but I was) and I can confirm that it was 85+ in there.
The vent that I was hiding in had to be near 100.

Clearly O didn't talk to Skip Holtz but there are great many other people he could've spoken with.
O was on record before the game saying he spoke with someone at La Tech who advised him the ventilation was not great and thus LSU brought their own ventilation (blowers).

Screw you! LSU lied out their arse and caused the national media to report TEXAS has no A/C in its visitor locker room. This story was all over the country. We had to defend ourselves against an outright lie.
Again, I walked by the closed double doors 75 minutes before kickoff and the cold air could be felt blowing on the other side.
