Scuba deserves appreciation and Wild and Doge are devoted too
Braun looks like one of those guys that just has a gift to hit a baseball.

He seems capable of hitting righties or lefties. He doesn’t have a position right now, so I expect him to be the starting DH.
Simpson looking serviceable behind plate. He’s a good receiver.
Sheerin coming in max effort. He throws a little across his body. Great 2 strike AB from Stanny. So glad he came back.
Shahrdar with 2 effective innings.
Rough first for Lachenmayer. He’s not quite ready to be counted on, but plenty of time to come around.
Paz still working his way back.
Good reminder that he got hot late to get his average up. He was in .220 range a good part of the season. Didn’t recall he raised it all the way up to .295 by season’s end.
Plog was a guy without much buzz when he came in, but this spring he has shown he can be a HUGE weapon for this staff from the left side.

If Garcia and Plog can be LH relief counted on it makes it more likely you can move Williams to a weekend starter role if that is what is needed.

I still need to see more from Lachenmayer to see if he can contribute significantly to this team and Primeaux is who he is.
Milam thinks he’s Babe Ruth with his swing. I told those around me today I would rather him hit .320 with only 5-6 HR’s than .240 with 10-12.

Hope he proves me wrong and has his best year yet.
Yep. Zion looked good again. Good command and can flip a first strike breaking ball in there.

Liked what I saw from Zion today. 3 2/3 of no run pitching vs the lineup with majority starters.
Schmidt, Rizy, and Benge combined for 20 K’s over 10 innings.

That’s a lot of well hit balls in less than ideal weather.

3 HR’s by starters coming off some quality pitching is good to see (Dardar, Brown, Yorke)

Chambliss will get a TRO from a sympathetic Mississippi judge and be the Rebel QB next year just like Aguilar.
