Orgeron went so far as to say LSU was informed by someone at Louisiana Tech — Texas' season-opening opponent — about a lack of air-conditioning in the visitor's locker room at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, so LSU brought its own "blowers."

But Louisiana Tech football coach Skip Holtz said this week he didn't get a call or have contact with anyone at LSU while also noting he didn't find anything out of the ordinary related to the temperature in UT's visiting locker room.

Del Conte said, "(Louisiana Tech athletic director) Tommy (McClelland) called me personally and told me no one from LSU reached out to he or Skip (Holtz) about any air-conditioning issue."

Yikes

The temperature in LSU's locker room when the Tigers arrived at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium for last Saturday's game against the Longhorns was 68 degrees, and the temperature after the game was 74 degrees, according to an internal report conducted by the Texas athletic department.

Downright inhumane!

Little more interesting now that La Tech is forcefully denying the AC was messed up or that they contacted LSU.

Still would be a weird thing to just make up.

Trust me, I’m as sick of it as you are but the fact that they did an internal investigation and released the temperature readings is super petty and hilarious.

Also the fact that it certainly appears O was lying about the entire thing. It’s thread worthy

Hahaha it was 68 because LSU had to bring its own A/C. Hey, Texas, rooms cool down as the night goes on, they do not get warmer. 68 before the game and 74 after the game at 11 pm. Humm, something does not measure here, oh LSU took their ACs with them... So a room that is 74 without LSU's help at midnight was probably 85 during a 100 degree day.

Go into your living room and take a temp reading. Now put 85 massive sweaty men in there for a little while and take the temp again.

I doubt anyone on the coaching staff reached out to Louisiana Tech. It was more likely to be the equipment manager or supply staff. I am sure they checked in with La Tech to see if they had any issues with anything since LSU hasn't been to that stadium. If I was an equipment manager I would have talked to Tech.

More so than the readings the Louisiana Tech coach and AD offering outright denials of having problems or talking to LSU is more interesting to me.
