Well, if Texas cares so much about its turf, then its teams need to stop getting their shite pushed in by Louisiana football teams.
It must stick in your craw that for as much as Texas prides itself on being a major football state, lil ole Louisiana with a fraction of Texas's resources does football so much better.

I would bet that 99.9% of those people are doing everything they can to get the frick out of Texas anyway....no one really wants to be there except for folks who are born there...if you have ever lived anywhere else other than South Carolina, Missouri, Arkansas or Mississippi your are only in Texas as long as it takes to get the hell out...if you are from one of those 4 Texas is about the same so it'd be a mixed bag of folks trying to leave....
Texas would be pretty decent if it weren't for so damned many Texans...most of them are probably from somewhere else and only act like they think a Texan should act...because the people I know who are actually more than 1 generation Texans are very good people...

The Mississippi coast is closer to Baton Rouge than Starkville or Oxford.
Also, tons of Louisiana transplants or descendants of transplants down there, especially in Hancock and Harrison County.
