William Taylor posting on one of his million alter accounts doesn’t really count..

MackDaddyBrown isn't Willie. Speaking of alters, you almost sound like serraneaux when he said Tennessee lost on purpose a couple weeks ago

Have they really only won the CWS six times while going almost 40? That is absolutely pathetic. Sounds right for Texans

For years the CWS was set up by regions of the country. The state of Texas was pretty much a whole region. The SEC was a region. So, basically, every year, the state of Texas got a representative in the CWS while the SEC only got one representative. No wonder they have 40 appearances.

I didn’t say we lost on purpose..

I’m saying that getting humbled by the game can be good from time to time.. I’d rather get humbled now and hopefully learn from it for the postseason.

PS: that is Willy

Gotcha....yeah someone mentioned the other day that with baseball, good teams will go through a stretch where they're humbled by losing a few games in a short period. Could be regular season or worse, postseason

You also have the weakest road schedule in the conference.

Finally having to play a good team on the road. The easiest SEC away schedule I’ve seen in a while.

Yup. All but guaranteed Texas won’t win the natty in baseball. They haven’t been battle tested whatsoever.

In reality I didn’t come into this season thinking we’d win a national championship. I thought we had the talent to make it to Omaha but with a first year head coach it’s not common to win a national championship especially taking over a team that lost in the Supers the year before and going into the toughest conference in baseball.

Our program is in good shape and right now right on ahead of schedule with what my expectation was coming into the year.

If we can stack a class or two in the next two recruiting cycles it should be fun to see with Schloss as coach. I just don’t see Max Weiner staying here long enough for that. He’s going to get a shot to coach somewhere

Too many ifs/ands/or buts to expect to win a natty.

Regardless of How fayetteville comes out this weekend, you guys still have at least a 2 game lead in the SEC baseball conference.

I'd say you are doing ok.

:Looking forward to the rest of our series.

I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the cycles flip, you guys come out hot while we have our letdown period, and we get absolutely smoked.

Maybe we can take a game; 2 and the series would be a gift.

Ahem.

Beat it right out of our system, please.

Squeezing Texas more, and I don’t care who wins.

That was quite the “number one team in the country” play Texas just pulled off there.

Soonerd78. If only that bad LSU football program could have competed with that top Oklahoma program. Have we even won a game? Maybe in some meaningless matchup where the Sooners had their third string in after already sealing national championship birth.

Don’t really think that would make a difference when Texas has been outscored 15-1 and has runners going around the bases on a 1 out infield pop-up.

Texas won’t swing as a borderline pitch. And then they swing at some wild shite because the last borderline ball was called a strike. I know last night the ump called a gaming ending strike a ball. Welcome to SEC officiating. In all sports.
