Let me know when you’re in Houston.
I’ll buy you a drink.
God bless the SEC.
Here’s to Texas A&M.
I mean it.

It’s really hard to like a cult that has traditions such as 12th man yet quits every chance they get.

No hate for the state of Texas. I actually think it's great.

I don't hate the state of Texas, or aTm either. The liberal cesspool in Austin is a different matter.

They brag about being independent, small gov't, etc yet gave us LBJ and Dubya Jr.

Being from Houston and having lived there 18 years of my life, it’s not that great.

If I ever moved backed to Texas, it would only be to Hill Country and not to Austin either. Too liberal and too many beta soy boys there for my liking.

And yet you are in the Southeastern Conference. I doubt the majority of SEC fans would miss you gay weirdos if you left the conference.

Plus, English is still our primary language. Comprendes?

Texas is good.

It's better in almost every way to Miss and Louisiana. It loses in some areas to the other SEC states, but it's probably the all around winner

I suppose Texas would seem great to anyone who has never had the privilege of living in Tennessee.

Tennesseans can also take credit for the single biggest source of Texan pride

I have family who lives in the panhandle. I'd go visit there every year starting as a young child, and that was what I thought Texas was for the longest time – some fricked off Mad Max looking post-apocalyptic wasteland that dealt with constant wildfires and tornadoes.

Texas is a huge state and a lot of it's barren and not particularly worth visiting. When I went to the "real" Texas my opinion changed.

Also, no one here really hates Texas. They hate Texas universities. They hate UT because they're a bunch of prima donna entitled crybabies who have a false sense of entitlement and are disconnected from reality when it comes to the state of their athletics. They hate A&M because it's a weird homosexual cult with a deep seated inferiority complex. They hate Baylor because Baylor spent years thinking rape was cool. If SMU didn't get the death penalty, they'd be more hated. They hate Texas Tech because who the frick throws tortillas at people and calls that tradition? You're in Lubbock. You don't get to have fun or feel good about yourself.

Texas is great. I just don’t associate with anybody in a cult. Think that’s pretty reasonable

Yea. Who wouldn't be proud of being crowned the best athletic department in the country?

Had you said football, yea I probably would've agreed with you. But I certainly can't disagree with any of the other stuff you typed

I've been to Houston several times and San Antonio once, and I liked both cities. The people were super friendly.
My daughter is moving to Dallas and I would love to know more about that city.
