How exactly is you joining a real conference make your fans louder? That is a stupid argument. Texas has never been loud or intimidating their fans think they are above all that.

Because the fans will actually care about the teams we’ll be playing? Are you stupid?

That's weird... Will Anderson sure thought differently
quote:

"To be honest, since I've been here these last three years, this is probably the loudest environment I've done played in," Anderson said. "Probably the hardest game I've played in since I've been in college football. Their fans were super loud, they had a lot of energy. But the atmosphere was crazy."
But I'm sure he had similar comments about Fayetteville later that season

Oh were we supposed to show out for Iowa State? Literally zero good conference games at home in the last decade plus.

I’ve been to LSU games vs McNeese State louder.
I'm sure Baton Rouge also has plenty of things tantamount to ACL and Austin city life going on at the same time that they can attend rather than going to a meaningless home game against an opponent they don't care about

Congrats on being super duper passionate about McNeese STate though!!

Lol his thread is so desperate. Tbh the amount of threads about Texas on this site are... telling

I’m sure many have stated already, will actually get vastly better once we’re in the SEC. Mediocre team in a mediocre conference for several years now, look what it’s done. I think we’re turning the corner so the product will be better and the schedule will obviously be better. Apples and oranges. Come to DKR for an SEC game and you’ll see it’s no different than what you’ll see the other weeks.

Never trailed by more than 7 against the twice-reigning SEC champion last year, but yea: they'll be down 3 TDs to Arkansas

You are so bad at this it's actually adorable

Every SEC stadium would be quiet when the home team is down 3 TDs.

Weird “we don’t care about our football team” flex.

That's what you read out of that?

What I'm saying is it's likely that other stuff going on around a city like Austin is likely going to take attention away from the football team hosting Iowa State or UTEP

Try not to make you LSU-level reading comprehension so obvious

Again, saying there are better things to do than watch one of your 6 total home games (this was 2011) really does make it appear that you don’t care about your football team.

You can’t both pretend you’re a good fan AND brag about how there are so many better things to do than go to football games.

NVM there were people there they just weren’t very loud.

We don't care about the opponent. Like I said: congrats on staying all minutes for McNeese State. I don't doubt for a second that's literally the only thing there is to do in Baton Rouge on a Saturday night.

Oh my god... how is LSU even in the top 200 schools in the link I posted with reading this poor?

We don't care about the opponent. If you could read (which it's clear you can't given your education and responses), you would see that the last 3 pages are Texas and OU fans thinking alike on this.

Please keep responding. I need more good laughs today

I've been about 6 times and it's really a country club atmosphere. Their hell raisers are a small portion.
