Texas #24 in this poll

Of Quietest Stadiums. Will only get worse when you join the SEC Shorthorns!!!

The only reason Vanderbilt isn't #1, is because of the visiting fans.

So you're saying it will be quieter?

Since Texas is joining a better conference, wouldn't that increase gameday atmosphere given the more quality opponent? Or are you arguing that Texas is going a step down in competition?

Genuinely confused here...

Had a college buddy get a MFA at UT after LSU. I visited And went to a game during LSU’s byeweek.

Conference game. Quiet as a church.

Also, you feel super far away from the field only halfway up the lower bowl.

Kansas fans can't do all the noise alone.

It was pretty loud when Ole Miss played them in 2013. Until they started getting their arse beat. Could easily carry a convo with the people around me

Oh were we supposed to show out for Iowa State? Literally zero good conference games at home in the last decade plus.

September 12th is when this article came out.
October 15th they played the real UT in Knoxville.
Will Anderson had 1 solo tackle and 3 total for the game. Darnell Wright dominated him that game. And I can assure you Knoxville was twice as loud as Austin was on the night Bama lost. If he’s asked again he will tell you Tennessee game was his toughest game if his career last year and the loudest.

I’ve been to LSU games vs McNeese State louder.

I’m not expecting 4 quarter rocking the house vs Kansas but maybe 6 minutes off the clock.

Sure. He was trolling you, but if you are "genuinely confused" it says a lot about you.

I actually wasn’t. If Texas can’t win the Big whatever it is, then I wouldn’t expect them to win more in the best conference in the country when they join the SEC.

LSU’s fans and stadium are some of the loudest in the country. But Texas is plenty loud enough when we want to be. We just don’t get hard for everyone.

If you’d like a quiet place to grab a nap try GT. Unless UGA or Clemson is visiting the place is a graveyard. How much noise can 138 fans make anyway?

Every high-capacity stadium has that potential.

Admittedly, Alabama's doesn't stay that way consistently enough.

I had a Gump tell me on the way out the stadium that our environment was more difficult to play in than the Iron Bowl (true story)

Yeah yeah we heard the same thing when aggie joined and they've won just as much in the SEC as they did in the Big 12 get over yourselves.
We suck we have bigger problems than the SEC right now that we have to figure out.
