Still believe there was no election interference huh? You really are fricking retarded if you think the state of Georgia automatically just jumps ship and becomes a democratic state
It wasn’t just democrats who wanted him gone. The huge turnout in the country was to get rid of him, republicans included. If he had won Georgia he still would have lost, it wasn’t just them.

Gtfoh. Brokeback State wasn’t asked the question. Texas fans were asked the question. Don’t you need to be worried about finding someone new to be your arch enemy? Who’s it gonna be? Tech? Maybe try to stir something up with Colorado? Hmmm. Seems everyone in the new Corporate sponsored glorified conference USA already have some established rivalries. KU-KSU, ISU-KSU, Tech, Baylor, TCU and Houston old SWC conference mates and rivals. ASU-AU, CU-Utah, Utah-BYU….where do you fit in there? You are NO ONES rival.
Since finding this board I have visited nothing else. It’s been refreshing to visit and read all the various teams’ forums chats. Very healthy rivalries everywhere. The good old fashioned type rivalries. Always had that with Texas, but once Nebraska ran away we had no other real rivalries with anyone until the local media forced it on us. We really never truly thought of you as rivals. 91-20 isn’t a rivalry, it just had some games that were more exciting than others.
Now that we’re gone, osu really needs to focus efforts on finding that new team to hate, the one team that you KNOW will fill your stadium like we did. I know you think you’re on some secret list of next SEC additions. Just go to the big12StateFarmInsurance message boards and try to scare up a rival. A real one

I would have thought the primary response would be Tex8&4 considering the amount of shyt talking that goes on between those teams on this board. Texas and Oklahoma seem to have a mutual respect...at least they don't rib each other that much on here.
Time will tell...

This has been my exact experience with Arky. One of my best friends - great guy and was one of my groomsmen - is an Arky fan. When it comes to UT/Arky, it's nothing but "frick you"...and he means it too. It cracks me up, but he's not kidding.
It’s important to understand the dynamics here.
Arkansas fans are fricking nuts. We just are. We fly banners, FOIA our coaches, set our QB’s trucks on fire. It’s legit embarrassing to read about, but it’s reality. Arkansas as a state is always outside looking in of the SWC back in the day and sort of the SEC now.
Texas fans are obnoxious and self absorbed. It’s just natural to hate you coming from a place of batshit crazy. And we truly don’t care what you think about us. Call us crazy rednecks? We’re well aware. frick you anyway. We don’t care what you think. Watching your suffering in sports is borderline erotic. Sarkisian’s line about us hating Texas more than we like ourselves is pretty close to true in most sports.
Those dynamics are one of the reasons the LSU series never truly turned into a “true” rivalry. The games were awesome, but those coonasses are crazier than we are.

Arkansas was an outsider back in the SWC days. Less of but still an outsider in the SEC. Arkansas would have been a better fit in the Big 8.
Arkansas fans are pretty harmless compared to Gump fans that kill each each other over football games and poison trees.

As an LSU fan can appreciate this statement.

Whoa now, there are some idiots who did those things but they are a very small fraction of our fanbase and they can be easily found on hogville.
Most Arkansas fans were disgusted by that crap.

Yeah! How dare internet poster SCDawg95 not physically stop thousands of mystery ballots being dropped off in mailboxes at 3am, or have the foresight to stop someone from creating a busted water pipe at state farm arena during count night. How could he be so callous!?
The FACT is that the vast majority of states in the deep south are all the exact same spittin image of one another. Most anywhere you go in GA/AL/MS/SC/NC/TN/etc all looks the same, acts the same, and is made up of the same people. The differences are in your mid and large sized cities. It's no secret that Atlanta is blue as shite, and the problem gets worse because yankees keep moving into our lovely state and continuing to vote democrat all throughotu gwinnett and other metro ATL locations.
So to be more accurate...Atlanta is blue. Big time. The state of GA as a whole is no more blue than alabama or anywhere else. Just like you have pockets in GA like savannah, macon, etc that are also blue, you have montgomery, bham, etc that are also blue. The big outlier is just how massive atlanta is.

There’s only one team that, when Texas wins their regular season football game against them, gets the tower lit fully orange.
And it’s not Oklahoma.

off topic:
since Tx/ou are new here I'm not fully aware of all their traditions yet. Can you elaborate on the tower being lit up? Obviously I assume when they win a game it lights up, but why does it not light up "fully" each time?

Particularly back then...
Arkansas was an SEC "state" even when Arkansas was in the SWC. But Fayetteville's location and limited access to the rest of the state of Arkansas made it more of a Big 8 locale. There were five Big 8 schools within just a few hours of Fayetteville.

In other news, Georgia Tech is Alabama’s biggest rival because they’re referenced in their fight song
