To be fair Nebraska now has a severe recruiting disadvantage. Florida still pulls in good classes despite being terrible.

I saw a stat today that showed tx has faced an avg of the 122nd ranked offenses (all games factored). Is that true?

The fewest yards of total offense was set by Syracuse in 1947 at negative 47 yards. Negative 107 rushing yards, but an impressive 60 passing yards.

Something to shoot for, Gators.

And that's not disrespect or smack talk. Having been there, wanting the coach gone, rooting for interesting stats like that helps keep you engaged.

Both teams have a stellar defense. QB play is marginally better with Arch than Lagway. Advantage Horns but should be a competitive three quarters. Then I think Florida’s defense wears down

Contrary to public opinion, most Texas fans are realists. Because our QB has the yips, we are worried regardless of the opponent.

Texas has a young team with lots of talent. Could go either way. Just hope they are not looking forward to the dirt burglars .

It's a shame, too, because the kids on the field could beat this Texas team, but they won't because of the moron on the sideline who will make the worst possible decision at every moment.

For a preview, watch the LSU game. They were practically asking Florida to win and Napier would just tell Lagway "go out there and throw another pick"

Florida is a in a fertile area. They will always have talent. Just like my team no matter who the coach is.

"Because our QB has the yips, we are worried regardless of the opponent"

This is exactly how I feel. Even if Arch plays very well in this game, from what I have seen so far, I am concerned that the UTEP Arch could emerge at any point.

One other thought crossed my mind.

I am not sure who should be more concerned about the Red River shootout, Texas or OU.

Even if Arch plays okay against UF, there is no guarantee he doesn't psychologically go to pieces in another game. However, things are much scarier for OU.

Mateer looked great. He was on track to be a Heisman finalist. He still could be, unless BV is reckless. We all know Venables is terrified to have 3 bad losses to Texas in a 4-year span. He shouldn't allow Mateer to be rushed back before he is fully healed. However, I think that is exactly what he is going to do. Mateer is the OU running games. He will be taking insane hits from the most athletic D OU has faced all season. It is a massive risk to bring him back. I think BV is going to roll the dice. If Mateer exacerbates this injury, the consequences are massive.

This implies that you know the difference between fresh asswater and stale asswater, and the only way to tell the difference in how stale a liquid is is to drink it.

I hope its a good game but I think the following will be the script:

Close in the 1st half, Texas is much healthier now and IF Floridas DT are truly banged up and dont play getting our 2 best RBs and another Oline and our transfer WR back is going to cause problems for FL D. Fl has a great D no doubt but IF there are injuries I think Texas can dictate the game flow and wont have to rely on Arch to do too much.

Every Texas fan I have spoken with respects FL athletes and talent and my only worry is there is a win on for coach motivation. other than that I think its likely a close with for Texas I think.

and florida fans are underestimating just how bad Sark is at offense, especially in the red zone.

21-13 Texas.
