All in all it’s been a weak showing for every fan base. West Virginia has probably brought the most people. We’ve been here since Thursday and still haven’t seen any homemade moonshine yet. Totally disappointed!

They pack their home field but don’t go to Omaha after being a top 6 seed. Must have already thought UGA was gonna come out on top in that bracket

It’s far from a cheap trip. There’s 4 good and proud schools left. I’m sure you’ll see a good showing from whoever is represented this weekend.

Texas fans don’t go to home baseball games except when LSU is the visiting team. Why would you except them to go to Omaha to see their team play?

They had one female fan during a game behind the catcher.
She NEVER looked up the entire game..........stared at her phone the whole game while 20 feet from home plate.
Drove me crazy.

This is not uncommon... Texas fans suck arse. They're a lot like Cowboy fans. But have actually experienced success in the last decade.

It's not uncommon for college baseball in general.
LSU is a VERY big outlier in terms of fan support for college baseball. In my experience, the only schools with fanbases that come somewhat close are Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Arkansas and, come recently, Tennessee. For the rest of the country they'll stick around to watch a few innings on TV, but they aren't incurring the expense to take a "vacation" in Omaha, NE.
That's not an indictment of LSU fans. Do what makes you happy. It's just a recognition that Texas fans aren't the outlier here. LSU fans are.

it is only 100 miles from Austin to College station and in 2024 Texas went to the A&M regional and their fans didn't even hardly travel to support their team

Texas has a national fan base. LSU fan base is large but more regional.
