Born and raised in TX. Moved to TN a few years ago. Surprised how little I miss TX. TN is great. The one thing I do miss is the food, especially Tex-Mex and BBQ. TN food is pretty mediocre.

Tennessee is a beautiful state! Nashville is cool but I could see myself living in Chattanooga. Nice small town vibes and you can spend time in Tennessee and Georgia in the same afternoon.

A&M and Tenner are already allies.
The two flagship universities of their states.
There is no need for a gay-liberal third wheel.

I'd like to see Texas at Neyland and a really interesting checkerboard Neyland with two distinct shades of orange.

Soybeans are Tennessee's top agricultural commodity and number one export.
Soybeans are Tennessee's top agricultural crop (slightly ahead of corn), but Tennessee's top agricultural commodity is cattle/calves (at least according to the USDA).

Very interesting map.
On an unrelated note to the actual point you were making, I don’t recall the last time I looked at a county map of Texas. That’s just an insane amount of counties, even factoring in how big Texas is.

Your soy boi crops are much lower than your cattle....but still your top crop.
So let's talk cattle production...Texas is King...by a long shot!

Tennessee is a horrible state and the Soy Boi capitol of the USA.

Austin I think can claim the title of Soy Boi capitol of the US and Tennessee may grow a lot of Soybeans, but your soymilk drinkin' freaks in Austin sure keep them in business...

2024:
If you look at it by land mass, Oklahoma and Missouri actually produce more cattle per square mile. Texas benefits 3.75+/- times the land mass of Oklahoma.
Texas has approximately 15.32 head per square mile vs. Oklahoma which has approximately 27.32 head per square mile based off the data you provided.
Seems like we do more here in Oklahoma than Texas does.
You got that golfball through the garden hose yet?
