LSU/A&M

Does the SEC have a Gentleman's agreement with A&M about keeping this around Thanksgiving?

How much more evidence do you need that the SEC cares about Texas more than A&M?

Hmmm. All programs huh? If only our basketball team played the conference tournament champion in basketball this year or if the baseball team played 8 games against the sec this year. Guess we’ll never know, though

you will know... and you won't like the answer. It'll be a learning curve. 8 games vs. a full season... not the same. You'll see. We thought we were ready when we came in and we found out we were not.
SEC is like going from the minors to the big show.

Wow. A warning from fan of a championship-less program in baseball. I’m so terrified I’m shaking

Neither OU nor OSU want to make that game an OOC game. Once OU leaves for the SEC, OU will not being playing OSU for the foreseeable future.

Not according to OU, OU's leadership, the President and Castiglione have both mentioned their intent on playing this game. OSU however is balking, they may not want that auto loss 9 out of every 10 years.

That's what OU leadership has said publicly. Behind the scenes, not so much.

I would think Texas and Texas A&M will meet the final weekend

Correct.

LSU vs Arkansas

Missouri and Oklahoma matching up?

I think Bedlam will still happen rivalry weekend, unless the schools decide not to keep that game. Or maybe if Mizzou cant find a rival then the SEC will step in and make OU move Bedlam to another week.

Texas is a top 2-3 baseball program of all time and consistent throughout. 6 CWS wins and 36 appearances to Omaha. I think they will be alright

Just say it man. TAMU is so desperate to have their own identity independent of the Longhorns

So?

You know how they are. That's you piggy left the SWC.

Playing the fricking longhorns on opening weekend would be MUCH more compelling than T-day or rivalry weekend and EVERYBODY knows it.

I disagree. I think the game is way better late in the season when both teams have their identity.

Lol that poster is the only guy that desperately wants to avoid playing Texas on Thanksgiving and play LSU instead. Meanwhile, this is what the LSU fans think of their "rivalry":
quote:

Dear lord UT please take these dorks off of our hands thanksgiving weekend. I’d rather play Arkansas like we used to. Let ou play Missouri that weekend.

Give me Arkansas on Friday at 230. Love it.

Of the 118 years of playing, name the single game that meant jack fricking shite.

It's NEVER been a compelling game late in the season. EVER.

One team has sucked or both have sucked.

Texas never changes.... they think they are above everyone even when history keeps smacking them in the face and telling them NO.

are you really trying to say that LSU would be a better rivalry than Texas? seriously? As bad as Texas has been Im surprised you wouldnt want to jump to the opportunity to beat us? Then again aggy logic never really makes much sense

The same SEC officials that didn't tell aTm Texas was going to join the conference are the same who will set the rivalry game. Aggie/Texas

I mean... history kind of shows that we are above you guys

56-22 against the hogs
76-37-5 against the aggies

We're not going out of our way to be braggarts about these things. We're responding to fans like yourself who willfully have a very short-term memory of being handled by Texas across most sports and then try to smack-talk.

It's ironic how you think Texas deserves no respect and mock them for it, but then think everybody should get on their knees and praise Arkansas for their achievements as of late

Man you are definitely doubling down on those photos I see. It must upset you that you weren't smart enough to get into Texas as the students in that photo were

But I'm not surprised you needed to post with a phallic intent in response to being triggered by one of my posts. That is your M.O. after all (not that there's anything wrong with that!)

Not saying it means something championship wise, I was referring to the teams know who they are and are developed throughout the season instead of week 1.
