Well, if A&M turns it over 6 times again then we got a problem. Don't look for that again.

You do realize that the last 7 minutes of the Ole Miss game is where JFF really started to click on offense? This is when the offense really came together.

I could have sworn Pitt was bowl eligible.

Yes, RT Jake Matthews moves to LT. Speculation is that RG Cedric Ogbuehi moves to RT.

Which is exactly why we didn't last year.

This team returns 19 of 22 starters. Y'all can say whatever you want about this signing class, but they're not going to supplant a lot of experienced sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Nkemdiche, Tunsil, Treadwell, Golson, Mark Dodson and a few others should contribute early, with Nkemdiche probably being a starter. That's about it as far as I can tell.

I like how to LSU fans, if another team barely wins, you might as well count it as a loss...

...but if LSU barely beats you it's "we whooped dat arse! Stop with your moral victories!!1"

Anyways, we beat OM by 10ish.

Don't know yet. It'll be a battle in camp for either the RT spot or the RG spot if Ogbuehi slides over.

I'm not worried this year because our OL is still going to be Sherman recruits, and whatever else you can say about him as a coach, he knew his shite at the line of scrimmage.

Mack Brown is now going to a "no-huddle spread offense".

In other words, he's going to switch to an offense he doesn't have the personnel or coaching staff to run just three years after switching to an offense he doesn't have the personnel or coaching staff to run (2010 season).

Surely that can't go wrong...

have no idea who will win.

Ole Miss returns 19 starters so these young guys dont "have" to start. They will have to win spots.

The OL is not going to drop off much if at all next year. Matthews would have been a LT on any other team in America last year and we have plenty of depth on the OL. The only potential weakness on offense is we are replacing a lot of WR's but that was also the strength of the recruiting class and the 2 positions where a Freshman can make an impact easiest is WR and RB because athleticism wins over experience 9/10.

A&M's offense is going to be insane next year, the question is more about how much the younger talent on D can replace the experience that left.

Sorry, as long as A&M doesn't cough it up SIX times, I don't think it will be all that close. There won't be much of a drop off at OL, or the offense in general, and we have improved GREATLY since the two teams played last year.

Not discounting OM, but honestly would be disappointed if we lost this one.

Ole Miss will be better, but A&M almost certainly wont turn it over six times again.

Last year showed us there are two kinds of teams: Those with the defensive speed to contain Manziel's scrambling and those without it. Those without it lost, and usually big. I dont believe Ole Miss has LSU defensive speed this year.

A&M won the game - that's what I remember anyway.

I also remember being down by about 10 points with less than 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter. A&M had the ball on their own 3, 3rd and 19, and JFF made a good throw and Evans made a GREAT catch for the 1st down. Touchdown by JFF 2 plays later.

Great teams make the plays when they HAVE to make them - whether it is coming from 10 points behind, or stopping the opponent on 4th and inches.

A&M made the plays - end of story.

If our kicker had made his field goals and extra points in the LSU game, we would have played for the SEC Championship. But, he didn't.
