How do state and ole miss have more money than LSU? We have two schools and a smaller population?

Y’all funneling endowments to recruits now too?

I mean a majority of LSU’s supporters only care about athletics and a good chunk are not alumni.

Let’s compare UT’s endowment to A&M’s. It’s over twice as much.

Yet we just won the national championship with *maybe* the best season ever. We didn't need $13B to get stuff done.

Maybe A&M is really just a bunch of democrats?

You realize the school has a football team, not the football team has a school.

Nevermind. Everybody has their own priorities. To each his own.

That's fun. The guy who is on a sports board defends his football team's ineptness with claims of the superiority of their endowment. Mmkay. Whatever helps you sleep at night. (What helps you sleep is probably a great big wiener, not that there's anything wrong with that... You be you.)

This is a sports forum. Endowment and athletic operating revenue have nothing to do with each other.

This idea they can just buy success, well see results, they speak for themselves.

Nah. We've got money but we prefer it stay with the sports not the academia who waste gobs of money and have it tied into politics which isn't where you want money in Louisiana. We are the epitome of "it just means more".

Not sure where you got the numbers, but at least some of them are off.

Arkansas's Fayetteville campus alone is over $1.2B. That doesn't include the med schools or other campuses.

All of them should be able to fund their athletic deficit
Right?
