Jimbo won a national championship in his fourth season at Florida State, he won a recruiting championship in his fourth year at A&M.

After year 5, it all spiraled out of control.

He's in year 5 at A&M now.

The discipline issues are starting to crop up majorly, we saw multiple players arrested during the offseason as well as several being suspended for various reasons.

The offensive line is trash, much like Florida State's was at the tail end of Jimbo's tenure.

Quarterback development is a dumpster fire, really the only difference is it took longer to show itself at FSU because they had more talent and a far weaker schedule.

I expect Jimbo to eventually understand his offense is a problem, even if it takes awhile. Then Aggies will begin the tedious journey of expecting this offensive coordinator or that analyst to fix the offense (Cam Cameron anyone?).

That will last until Aggie can comfortably pay the buyout in 3 or 4 years.

Buckle up, Ags.

Solid research.
What are your thoughts on the other SEC teams who lost last weekend?
Thanks!

Arkansas was about what I expected.

Auburn showed a lot of fight. Their quarterback could be really good depending on who his next coach is.

The barometer of a coach is the condition of the program when he gets there, as opposed to the condition of the program when he leaves.
We tried to tell them.

Legit question: is year 5 under Jimbo worse than year 1?

He could do well there. For WVU standards. 8-4 would be a dream for them.

Dude, this is A&M we're talking about. That's one thing ol' Jimbo doesn't have to worry about.

This is what I expect to happen. He knows he's starting to wear out his welcome in College Station. I think he voluntarily leaves for West Virginia. He gets a fresh start and even with a pay cut still has more money than he'll ever need. Plus expectations are much lower at West Virgina. He'll probably do pretty decent there.

Unreal that Jimbo, in a span of about 6-7 years, has gone from LSU’s possible dream coaching hire to the likely coach at WVU lol
