But I'm just ribbing USCe. Still a little peeved that the SEC setup USCe to be the Aggies cross division opponent. I was hoping for a team that would make it a little more competitive.

I actually like that Mizzou and USCe are in the SEC personally. They both add a lot to the conference. It worked out great in my opinion, as it often does for things that are meant to be.

Agreed.
Apart from the obvious, South Carolina and Missouri are my two favorite SEC schools, with Arkansas right there with ‘em.

Actually I think Arkansas would be better off in the Big 12. It would fix many of their recruiting problems and they could demand major concessions from Texas like the Thanksgiving day game.

But Arkansas knows how UTex functions; I’d think that would preclude them from ever walking away from the SEC and headfirst into an arrangement fronted by the horns.
Despite the common anti-horn blustering around here from fans of schools who haven’t actually had to coexist with UTex, few really know the downside of “sharing” a conference with the horns.

Hey so I was out on my annual hunting trip to Texas a couple of weeks ago ... all the old regulars showed up including a couple of the King (Ranch) boys. They're coming out to stay with me and party at the Cockaboose for the game this year. I always love stirring it up at the hunting camp between the Whorne and Aggies. The Kings hold their own.
I'd complain about the airports though. I looked and looked for Aggie gear in the airports in Midlands/Odessa, Dallas and Austin and all they had were tons of Whornes crap.

It's always been that way. The only people who are Aggie fans either went there or have family who did. Our limited appeal makes our fundraising and bootstrapping even more impressive because we did it without a legion of illegals buying our shite at Walmart.
