Meh, Matty Ott shut Texas down as a freshman in the CWS finals. Came in in a tied game in the 9th and threw 3 no hit innings to win the game in 11 innings

Loy has been pitching good at times. And Combs threw over 50 pitches yesterday. It wasn’t a bad call and it wasn’t Vitello getting cocky. He believes in his guys!

Those insurance runs were big. Tennessee isn’t out of pitching but they’re about out of shutdown guys that can contain this lineup.
