Them liking Bama because of Gene Stallings & Bear Bryant going on to have success after leaving them is one thing. But that was back when they were not even in the same conference. Y’all are division rivals now idiots. What happens if there’s a season where Bama is the one team standing in your way of a championship? What happens if you sneak in the CFP and get a rematch against Bama in the national championship and get embarrassed? Would you hate them then? I mean come on this shite is just ridiculous. Nobody should “like” a division rival period. It makes no sense. Pulling for another team in a different conference or maybe an east team who you never see or have history with is almost acceptable.
You should hate Bama the same way you hate LSU. Pulling for Georgia to beat Auburn, Tennessee to beat Bama or Florida to beat LSU is pretty normal. I swear y’all are the weirdest fricking fan base I’ve ever seen.

Not that it makes much difference but on the field LSU leads State 73-38-3.
The stupid NCAA forced us to forfeit 2 wins in 1975-1976 because a Football player received a clothing discount at a store THAT ALL STUDENTS received the same discount. It is still one of the most bizarre penalties in the history of the pathetic NCAA. Nothing was done wrong yet we were forced to forfeit 19 wins and 2 ties over a three year period (1975-1977).
1975 State 16-LSU 6
1976 State 21-LSU 13
In 1977 LSU won so it was a moot point.
