Can’t wait. Will be tough at first in football but think we will compete immediately in all other sports.

Now that’s it’s a foregone conclusion, let’s get it done.

I’m slowly coming around to the position I had before DeLoss Dodds completely poisoned the rivalry with his arrogance and bitterness.

Before that, I would root for Texas as long as they were not playing A&M. (I have degrees from both schools.)

So Texas and OU fans should stop posting here until 2024, at least?

I think the majority of us are on board with that.

With the schoold joining big 12 in 2023 I was expecting Texas/OU to make the move then as well.

Most insiders believe it’s set for 2023. The big 12 isn’t going to want both schools in the big 12 with the new additions.

I have been for it since it was first reported by credible sources. Too many good memories playing Texass at DKR and Kyle Field.

Dodds was douche for certain and overplayed his hand in a number of areas for sure. Glad to see us getting back to normal in Texas. Not playing has been pretty dumb on the part of both schools.

Ags did what they had to do and I am glad to be in the SEC where sports really does matter.

I agree with both of you. Its a shame that we didn't play all those years, but with new leadership in place, hopefully the rivalry is restored.

Well Sooners on here the past few weeks said the exact oppo. Said no way the move will happen until 2025 bc it would be silly to throw that money away.

My stance was I’m confused why they are not at the table negotiating everything now? Especially with the new additions starting in 2023. Makes no sense to delay this unless Texas is not 100% solid with the move right now. I’ve heard plenty of rumblings they are not. OU on the other hand is ready to rock!

Who's to say they're not at the table negotiating everything, and haven't been for the past year? If there's $80+ million at stake, are you going to reach your negotiating limit after 2 hours?

Texas is 100% solid with the move, whether you aggies take it kicking and screaming or not

Texas and OU will have to pay big to leave in 2023. Apparently they aren’t willing to do that

XWing, you sound more like a twelve year old than a college graduate. Maybe grow up a little?

Which "insiders"? Why haven't they officially announced it then?

Why not?
