What the hell more do they want? Sounds like the Sabans need to get over themselves. He is compensated royally for his performance.

I am tired of all this. Nick has really helped Bama turn the football program around, but if he now doesnt like the program or the people, then leave. You are a football coach, not a god. Don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out.

Remember fellow Bammers, Bama achieved multiple championships before his arrival.

That's my rant and I'm sticking to it.

Not sure why the Gumps are so proud of this one. She's basically calling out the entire fanbase as detestable enough to leave but they're gonna tough it out in spite of the whole 'gump issue' as long as the price is right. Which means Bama is willing to build a wall around him and her so they don't have to mingle with the unwashed toothless sisterfrickers that are the majority of their fanbase as long as he stays. Not to mention the moat filled with money.

I don't know if Alabama can give him much more.

If it's the attendance, maybe ease ticket prices.

General public will buy them out at a fair price.

Whatever this "Gump issue" is needs to fricking stop.

It's unbelievable that any Bama fans could bitch about what Nick has done.

And you think they're going to do this in Tuscaloosa?

Bye bye Nick and Terry...

It doesn't. Keep in mind that there is no coaching opening at Texas. Mack Brown is still head coach & there is no official announcement of his leaving. Also, Nick refused to comment in the article. Its all vapor until there is a job opening at Texas.

A lot of people crack on Finebaum for his Jerry Springer like regular callers and the circus type atmosphere on his show but he was a brilliant investigative journalist back in the day and has very good sources on rumors. He was taking calls on Tim Brando's show and someone brought up the Texas job. He laughed it off and called it the biggest non story based on the most unsubstantiated rumors of any story he's ever seen. He said he had it on very good authority that Saban wasn't going to Texas. Hecould be completely clueless btw but he's usually spot on with stuff like this.

I also know someone who is friends with the Alabama AD and he says that as of about a month ago Saban wasn't leaving. Things can change but that was the word a month ago. The other side of that is that Saban would be retiring sooner rather than later (I.e. in 2 or 3 years).

It's funny that you think he'll go to Texas even after reading that article.

Just let Mack coach until he wants to retire. Then promote Applewhite.
