It all makes sense now. Everyone in the SEC has our defensive hand signals

So if his seat was right behind the Vols bench how could he see their signs?

Guys there is a reason most college teams are holding up blankets and shite over their signal callers. They have known for a while this shite goes on.

Clemson used to do it and some opposing coaches called them out on it publicly. This was back when Venables was there. Notice how Clemson isn't as good now.

It could all be fixed if the NCAA just allowed headsets on the field like the NFL. One way headsets to the QB and LB - call in the play through the headset and you can dump the hand signal nonsense

Florida state players already wear apple watches on the field

No. That old queer Roy Adams went to Hell several years ago. He’s in the hot tub waiting for Roy Kramer and fat Fulmer to arrive, so they can all fry and continue to eat arse for eternity.

If your OC is too fat and lazy to properly prepare for the biggest game on the schedule, then you deserve to get your arse handed to you. Yes or no??

Looking at you. MIKE LOCKSLEY

Yep.

Which tells you Michigan isn't the only team doing it...

Think having someone’s calls doesn’t matter?

Watch the Clemson - Bama NC in Santa Clara to see how it matters. Most of Bama’s assistants were leaving for other jobs and were too lazy to change signals before the game.

Clemson was just sitting and waiting on Bama’s pass routes leading to multiple turnovers and a surprise blowout in a game where Bama was favored.

To LSUs great credit they identified what Clemson was up to and shredded them in 2019 with what I can only assume were updated signals in their matchup with them in the playoffs.

It matters.

What sectet info is being taken when doing this? It's public record, so to speak. It's on TV.

Or is it kind of a gentleman's rule of the game you don't watch game film just to see the signs and decipher?

This. I always chuckle when someone gripes about their signs being stolen. If you are going to use signs that anyone can see to signal plays/formations, it’s up to you to disguise/change them so other teams can’t read. I’ve got no problems with stealing signals and think it’s part of the game imo.

But Michigan broke the rules by using technology to record oppposing teams signals in advance is against the rules. For example, stealing signs has always been part
Of baseball. But when the Astros placed a video camera in the outfield zoomed on the catcher, and relayed it back to the dugout. That was illegal.
