Way to point out the disparities in college football. Even this UT team would wax Temple and several others that make the top 25 in several polls and we're hardly alone... OM and Ark probably would too. But ultimately, Temple will finish with a much better record and a much higher ranking.
Reminds me of when we whipped VT and Northwestern and Iowa... all had much better seasons and finished higher than us. Yet in bowl games we flat out embarrassed Iowa and Northwestern (they were ranked in the top 15).
That said, we don't deserve even one vote for the top 25 until we earn it.

Tennessee has less top 25 votes than UCF, Northwestern, Army, Utah St, Fresno St, Cincinnati, Memphis, Duke, Baylor, Appalachian State, North Texas, Houston, and Temple.

I didn’t catch that this was the preseason poll, but I knew it couldn’t be current. LSU will certainly be #1 after their quality win yesterday.

You think he’s wrong? Temple gets a pass for playing in whatever shite conference they play in, while UT has to deal week in and week out with powerhouses like Bama, Florida, and Georgia State. The deck is stacked against them!
