Tennessee buying another power conference schools starting QB after spring practice would be good for the game?

Exactly, Tenn is about to screw another team over big time.

This outcome is very bad for the game, Tenn play your second string and deal with the path you chose.

For players like Nico that want to play hardball and sitout and act like they can't be replaced? Yes.. yes it is.. it will make the next guy think long and hard before they pull a stunt like that..

The big boys are gonna feed on the small boys either way..

For it to be an upgrade the guy doesnt just have to be better than Nico he has to be significantly more talented than Nico, you forget Nico has two years in the system and one year starting experience against sec defenses. I don’t see many upgrades available for tenner.

This is just funny. Now, all of a sudden a K State QB will be the savior of a SEC school. If I would have said this last week you guys would have told me how no player from a lesser conference could stack up to an SEC guy.

And Huepel will reward the very behavior he was making a stand against. You couldn’t create better hypocrites if you tried.

Agreed. I mean, where’s all this fricking loyalty the fans want in college football? They sure as shite don’t show it to players when there’s an opportunity to upgrade with a transfer / mercenary.

Why not benefit from Nico’s screwup and play in the SEC, in a big stadium, on a playoff contender for probably more money than he’s getting from K State?

Tennessee’s coach is paid to win games. If he feels Johnson is his best shot and Johnson is receptive, so be it. He won’t win anything worthwhile at K State and won’t play against the best in the country in the big 12

The NIL era is just gonna create further distance between the big dogs in the SEC, Big Ten, and some ACC teams and everyone else.

The game has changed, prove yourself as elite in the big 12 or whatever conference and earn the chance/money to shine in one of the Big 3 conferences

Because it’s about loyalty. Since when has going to college ever been about bettering your situation in life? It’s about making personal sacrifices for the original university that you chose to attend.

Well that’s just unrealistic. College is absolutely about bettering yourself and your situation in life. If someone is able to get ahead, while competing on the biggest stage against the best for a better shot at the NFL he’d be dumb to avoid that.

Football scholarships are yearly agreements. If Universities don’t have to commit to an athlete for 4 years, the athletes get the same choice

I watched Avery quite a bit and he can lose a game just as fast as he can win one.

He’d be better. Hopefully he finds Daisy puke orange isn’t in his color wheel.

on a playoff contender

The only reason Johnson would go to the Vols is $$$

Walking into a program as a starter where all you have is summer before the season starts is not how good things happen.

As to making the playoffs, he probably has better odds doing it with K State than he does the Vols, K State is one of the "heavyweight" teams in the Big 12

Big 3 conferences

There are only two conferences that matter, the SEC and the B1G. The ACC is a fricking joke and is arguably worse top to bottom than the Big 12
