UT has always been CHOKE U. All those football teams in the 70's, no title, the 80's no title, the early-mid nineties with Heath Shuler, Peyton, no titles. Basketball you had Bernard King and Ernie Grumfeld, no titles. I'll give you 1998 but you had to have an Auburn, iron bowl, act of god fumble from Clint Stoerner, a massive A&M upset of K state, and FSU losing their starting QB to win it.
