I can see them being a big threat in the coming years. They had an off year in 2020 but I can see them making a big run in 2021 and 2022.

I mean, does it really matter if Tennessee goes on probation. What's the worst that can happen? We suck for years to come? Been there done that.

They seem to be heading toward getting hit hard by the NCAA, so I doubt it.

I too would like to commend the University of Tennessee on their unique BOT that continues to break new ground in management style and grace in hiring practices. I feel that with Fulmer leading the chargers into a new decade and new batteries for his tape recorder, the sky is the limit.

We turned the corner in like 2005 and never looked back! Unfortunately, we just turned and headed in the wrong direction.

Tennessee is about to bust through the floor or the basement into a sub basement of pain and misery that nobody knew existed.

In addition, Tennessee would have to hire a competent AD to replace Fulmer.

*On a side note, I do love all the rumblings surrounding the program right now.

My favorite, is that Fisher is being courted by the powers that brought in the legal team to rid the program of Fulmer and Pruitt.

Normally I wouldn't even bat an eye, but these are the same folks that told me that Dave Hart was en route to steal Butch Jones from Colorado.

Then several hours later, Andre Ware broke the info that Jones was coming to Tennessee during a game telecast.

You'd think that Freeze is bucking for the job publicly with stuff like this.

Volswire USA Today (Liberty Head Coach Hugh Freeze recites Neyland's Maxims.

quote:

Part of ESPN’s telecast of the national championship game was “Film Room.”

Wake Forest head coach Dave Clawson, former Auburn head coach Gene Chizik, Liberty head coach Hugh Freeze and North Carolina A&T’s Sam Washington analyzed the matchup from a X’s and O’s standpoint.

During the game, Freeze recited one of General Robert Neyland’s Game Maxims.

“You always talk about in these games — when a break comes our way, man, we got to score, we got to take advantage,” Freeze said.
