I don't think so. Tennessee can be a championship contender again. They have a rebuilding process ahead of them but have already made progress.

Now if you really wanted to flex Country Music on UT fans, you would point out that the Osborne Brothers (who made Rocky Top a hit resulting in it being adopted by UT) were originally from Kentucky...so UT has to at least partially credit their unofficial fight song to Kentucky natives.
