I think it has to have something to do with the difficulty. To me it is a lot harder to reach the Final 4 than win a conference tourney. Different leagues would rank this differently as well. It's a lot easier for Gonzaga to win the conference regular season than reach the Sweet 16. 1. Final 4 2...
Outfield seats fir a softball field. Does any other college have that one, that’s a lot if seats.
UA has the "Brick Yard" but its more of a lawn seating area behind the fence. Love's, the truck stops, donated $12 million to OU for their new stadium. Once completed it will seat 3000...
Alabama softball lost 1.68 million dollars.
Try looking outside of a Covid year. During the 18-19 school year UA made bank. That year AU, Troy, UAB, UA, and Samford made money off of softball. I would bet OU softball definitely isn't losing money. ...
o appease Title 9.
Maybe when it started but softball is now a revenue sport. Schools that invest in the program are seeing profits. It is the 4th highest revenue sport in the NCAA. It's also paying for my daughter's education so I may be a little bias....

How tough is it to travel in the SEC? Only Arky and AU have winning road records. UK and UT are at .500. ...
Bama is in if we lose out lol,
No way bama makes it in with a 6-12 conference record. I think they finish 4-2 or 3-3 at worst the rest of the way. If they went 2-4 to wrap up the season I still think they get in with a conference record of 8-10. Any lower and I doubt it. ...
Bama has Fouts, who is definitely elite, and what appears to be potentially two more damned good pitchers on the rotation.
Kilfoyl would be a super star playing anywhere else than Bama. I was told by someone who would definitely know that the players had rather face Fouts than Kilf...
Smokey is the best dog mascot in the country and I hate everything else about UT. Sorry UGA but Bully at Miss St is a much better looking bull dog. I don't worry about he camera panning over to him while he dies on the sideline. The collie from A&M is even better than the genetic freak UGA. ...
Elite 8 2021….
Final Four in 2019... it's really not a tough question. Had I rather have 6 Final Four appearances with nothing in basically the last 30 years or one appearance in 2019 with a program that trending upwards. ...
I can’t remember the last time Arkansas had a losing record in basketball
I guess the five times over the last 20 years must not be to memorable. Or the 11 times Arky has been below .500 in the SEC over that span. The hogs are basically in the same place AU had been over that span...

I guess you can take some solace in that. The problem is Arkansas has made a habit of losing in the first round over the last 25 years or so but hey, they made the tourney. UMBC even made it past the first round in '18 as a 16 seed when Arky couldn't muster a win even when 8 seeds lower than th...
Just like Pearl, no coach is leaving a competitive SEC school for a mid level ACC job. Especially a mid level job that will require a lot of work to get through the mess they have ahead of them. ...
These other little 9-10k arenas don’t come close to comparing but they are cute
Maybe but one cute little arena will be putting up its third SEC Championship/Tourney championship banner from the past few years soon. I'll take 9,100 seats and multiple banners vs 19,000+ with nothing...

You have little to compare it to. Mizzu can't get a decent enough teams to draw fans for it to be loud. When they travel the crowd noise disappears quickly because its over at the half. ...

Dudy Nobel is legendary but I miss the old set up yall had. The original Left field Lounge is just iconic and a great baseball tradition. It is a beautiful facility now but just isn't the same. I guess to maintain success you have to bring in revenue and keep the money folks happy....
