On top of that screw job at the end, refs hit Tennessee for 15 penalties/126 yards where Purdue only had 6/61. Were that many penalties all legit?? I didn't watch but the last 5 min

But the officiating continues to prevent fair competition from playing out on the field

They were, but Purdue was getting a ton of no-calls that were getting called when committed by Tennessee, especially with respect to defensive pass interference and defensive holding.

These mutherfrickers said the play had already stopped because even though the whistle was not blown, the line judge had determined that forward progress had stopped! This schit is truly remarkable!!

You’re right, the whistle doesn’t matter. What you’re conveniently leaving out is the ref blew it ruling forward progress had stopped. That was an obvious mistake.

Blame the refs and you’d be right. Horrible call. But Heupel and hooker combined to lose that game in regulation. Get the yards needed for a field goal (play calling) or hit wide open receivers for td or close FG.

Vols were ripped off! That said, their play calls on the final drive and in OT were pretty suspect
