Just saw it on Twitter. Was this expected?

ETA: ESPN's twitter stated that Chris Low is reporting that both DC Justin Wilcox and LB coach Peter Sirmon have agreed to join Sark's staff at Washington.

This should drastically improve Washington's defense. And since they're returning a dynamic offense already, should add some intrigue to the early season matchup with LSU next year.

I'm sure UT will make that late recruiting push now.

This sucks. Best 2 coaches we had and Sirmon was by far our best recruiter.

These are not the staff changes I wanted to see. Probably the two best coaches we have just left for...Washington.

Sigh. Just grin and bear it, I keep telling myself. Even though our recruiting class is about to fall apart.

Hang in there. Tough to be a Vol fan these days.

Not trying to flame, but it's going to be tough being a Vol fan for a while. The state doesn't produce enough talent for them to make a quick turnaround. And all their traditional OOS recruiting hotspots are more difficult to get into now due to the home state schools.

Dooley is not the guy that's going to get them back into prominence, especially with LSU, Bama, UGa, USCw, and South Carolina all up at the moment, and Auburn, Florida St, and North Carolina all still recruiting well, even if they aren't world beaters.

Phil Fulmer sure looks better after each passing day.

I don't think that's a flame, I think it's reality. But honestly, it's been tough to be a Vol fan for a long time.

We might as well have kept him given what's come after.

But getting rid of Fulmer was not what was wrong, it was the complete bungling of it as well as the hiring of his replacements by our AD.
