Failmer could bring in his BFF Chavis as LB coach. Would still need a DC though.

I miss the Chief. I'm glad to see him doing well at LSU.

Sandusky would be a nice hire IMO. His defenses at Penn State always looked very good. Very close to his players as well.

Damn...really tough break after break for the Vols. Will see if CDD and CLT can hold on to the defensive recruits they had coming in (Santos, McNeil, Peters, etc.) Was shaping up to be a good looking class

At this point I'm not even suprised anymore when I see this stuff happen. The life of a tennessee vol fan... Any small chahnce we had of improving next season is now gone more than likely. Then dooley will be fired next season, then we start the rebuilding process over for the third time in 5 years. Sigh.

Wilcox turned down Texas last year in order to remain on this staff. Now he is going to UDub.....God damnit

Tennessee should move Thompson back to coaching LBs and hire Larry Johnson Sr to coach the DL. It would open a new recruiting market up for them.

Randy Shannon for DC. Would be good for South Fla recruiting

I've heard rumors they're already in talks with him

Since Tennessee still has a year left to go to pay off all the money that they owe Fulmer from the buyout, they should just fire Dooley and have Fulmer fill in as the interim coach for a year.
The fact that I might even be ok with this ridiculous turn of events shows how far we ve fallen

Having a presser tomorrow which is ODD.
Also, I know Volnation is not a great place for sources but it does have a couple legit posters.
A guy who is associated within the program who has defended this staff from day one says "Hart is making big moves, going to be one of those days". Could be interesting!

Dooley's seat continues to heat up. He's lucky Wilcox is leaving so late. The stability argument for keeping him is quickly evaporating.

Erik Ainge just tweeted that Something crazy is going down at the presser tomorrow?

I'm honestly not even getting worked up about losing these coaches and recruits. I really see this as a problem which won't get addressed properly until they can fire Dooley.
