I’m waiting to see if you ever make it. You think it is more important to have sec champ.lol. PS I’m going to look for your final four banner in the hanger if I can find it with the lights out.

You do you.

I would love for Alabama to have a final four or ten. But, if I had to choose a SEC title or final four, I am taking the title. You don’t actually win anything losing in the final four.

You post “lulz” because you don’t have a rational rebuttal.

Yes you do. You win your regional. There's a trophy and everything. It's a much bigger accomplishment than an SEC title.

You wouldn’t know, since that dump of an arena has none hanging. Lulz!

I did not realize there was a trophy for winning a regional. Is there a list somewhere of all regional winners by year? Without having to go look at it tourney bracket by tourney bracket? It would be interesting to look at year by year.

Kentucky is good at basketball? They have a bunch of banners? Who knew?

Don't know that he's in high demand but as far as results he's been as good as any coach in the league since he arrived at Alabama for the 2019/2020 season.

SEC records from 2019/2020 on:

1) Kentucky - 62-27
2) Alabama - 62-28
3) Tennessee - 58-31
4) Auburn - 57-33
5) Florida - 49-39
6) Arkansas - 47-42

Oats is in his 5th season as head coach has won 2 SEC regular season titles, 2 SEC tournament titles, been to 2 Sweet 16s, and has made the NCAA tournament every year he's been at Alabama.

Oats has as good a resume as any coach in the league the last 4 seasons

He's won the SEC 2 out of the last 3 years. Recruits at a high level. Has an offensive scheme that players love. Took a team that just replaced 10 players and led the league for most of the season. And BAMA has a double bye going into the tourney.

To name just a few.

Those 5 coaches are better than Oats.So basically he’s in the middle of SEC coaches
He's been in the SEC for 4 complete years now, and has 2 league championships, plus 2 SEC tournament championships...and you're saying he's in the "middle" of the SEC coaches......

A single Final 4 appearance is literally the only thing Auburn basketball has to hang its hat on over Alabama basketball. Otherwise the history of the two programs is almost as lopsided in Alabama's favor as the football programs are...

Side by side comparison of the two programs...

All time win/loss record:

Alabama - 1,790-1,098-1 (61.9%) - ranked 30th in all time wins
Auburn - 1,466-1,252-1 (53.8%) - ranked outside the Top 100 in all times wins

SEC regular season titles:

Alabama - 11
Auburn - 4

SEC tournament titles:

Alabama - 8
Auburn - 2

NCAA tournament appearances:

Alabama - 24
Auburn - 12

Sweet 16 appearances:

Alabama - 10
Auburn- 5

Elite 8 appearances:

Auburn - 2
Alabama - 1

Final 4 appearances:

Auburn - 1
Alabama - 0

Alabama leads head to head with a 101-67 all time win/loss record in the series

Complete and utter domination head to head in every single measurable category other than an extra Elite 8 appearance and a single season (2019) when a good Auburn team got red hot at the right time and caught lightning in a bottle at the end of the year making it all the way to the Final 4.
