We were good enough in our last three wins, certainly much improved, but our flaws on both sides of the ball were numerous and very real.

Should have been an 8 team playoff. Leave Tech, Oklahoma, and the kids table teams out and have a smaller bracket instead of adding other undeserving teams.

Check the score differential tsip(dipshit). Our offense played worse, but our defense played way better. Overall, had a better game against them. We threw an interception in the end zone that would have tied the game. No way we did not belong in the playoffs.

You're a homer, i expect you to defend your team.
I will never concede that a team that can't score more than 3 points at HOME belonged in the playoffs
everything else is just excuses , and almost touchdowns don't fricking matter

Teams getting blown out don’t belong, not a team that barely lost to a team making it to the next round of the playoffs after soundly beating a very talented team that was ranked #1 most of the season.
By your logic, if a team loses 7-0 in the championship game, they don’t belong in the playoffs.
I am just as disappointed in our performance as anyone, but to say that we didn’t belong in the 12 team playoff is asinine. Talk about being a homer.

Tech earned its spot. A month off and a a QB shitting his pants don’t mean they didn’t earn it. A normal offense day for Tech wins that game but that didn’t happen today.

So now what is the answer? Did we go back to the computer based system that was probably the best in my opinion? The BCS. Or do we allow humans that are imperfect and show favoritism towards the teams or conferences that they like the best. Also, some of these committee members don’t even watch football and every game like they should. The next big question is do we keep expanding this trying to get a possible Cinderella team like in college basketball win or just keep the top teams like the top two or top four? It doesn’t seem like it’s really about the best team anymore. It’s about how much ESPN, ABC, CBS, and NBC can make off of television ratings and commercials.

In the world where they didn't play anybody and lost to Arizona State. At the very least, they should have been blown the frick out by Miami in the first round so A&M and Oregon could have played an exciting game today.

The big 12 winner is an automatic qualifier. You can't claim sec because Indiana just throated alabama

My biggest gripe with Tech is they played nobody outside of the Big12, and they were rewarded for it. Unlike Texas, they play in a weak conference. They fooled us all, even themselves.
