And one of those four claimed titles is for the 1970 season, when Nebraska won the AP title. So only 3 consensus titles for the Horns, and 2 of those are from 50+ years ago.

But of you listen to them talk, they'll have you believe they're up there with Bama and Ohio State.

A&M, we always seem to be one step away

Holy fricking delusion

A&M has won double digit games ONCE since 2000. ZERO conference championships in the SEC. ZERO division championships in the SEC. ZERO national championships over the last 80 years. Bear Bryant couldn’t win at A&M.

Y’all are nowhere year “one step away” from being elite. It’s amazing that you have yourselves convinced that you’re so close to being incredible solely based on the fact that you pump yourselves up every preseason, right before y’all crash and burn into mediocrity.

Take a look at Pitt. If you want to go down that road!

This bears repeating.

All the resources in the world. ZERO championships to show for them.

State has at least won a division title. A&M may want to start there before they talk about being an elite team

UNC will be the next team to break through.
Southern University with a national brand.
Located in a state that is producing a vast number of football players (particularly Charlotte area).
Has a head coach who is fanatically dedicated to improving facilities to a Clemson/Alabama level. In only nine months on the job, Mack has installed field grass; new, state of the art lockers and weight equipment. UNC just christened a new indoor facility and will start work on a 20,000 square foot new weight room.
Is located in the Coastal Division of the ACC which gives a team a reasonable path to the ACCCG.
UNC will reach the ACC Championship by year 3 of Mack’s reign.
In 6-7 years Mack will hand off a powerhouse to a successor.

I agree completely, 2001-2013 was completely dominated by LSU. LSU is in the top tier of programs for just that. LSU is able to secure almost all of it's in state talent, and is able to recruit at a high level nationally. We have only struggled on the field because of a poorly coached offense. But we are rising back up again. I expect an 11-1 season this year for LSU.

Mack could not do it the first time, he will not be able to do it the 2nd time around. He left for a reason. Head on over to the Dean Dome, roundball is 2 months away

That was an impressive 13-peat. Unprecedented. It will never be matched again.

This club is only Clemson and Alabama.

That’s only 2.
