This is not my data, it is "Super Blue Chip" data gathered by a Texas site, but I thought some of you guys might like to see the break downs. Not a shocker to read that UGA and OSU have the most talent lined up for next year.

Before we look at the numbers... a quick reminder. What is a super blue chip? It's any prospect that earns the following ratings from the four major national recruiting services: Rivals (6.0+), 247 (96+), ESPN (85+), On3 (96+). With regard to the Portal, it's any player that ranks inside the top 32 overall prospects of the four major recruiting services. In order to be a consensus super blue chip player, you have to earn super blue chip status from at least two of the four major national rankings services.

Let's take a look at this year's numbers:

1. Georgia

We were vey inexperienced last year and this year will be even worse. Yes, a lot of future blue chips but that’s only if we can keep them. It hurts us when we lose the Isiah Bonds and Caleb Downs type players.

That's pretty much the sum of what was posted - by a mod on a Longhorns pay account. They didn't go past the top 12 and I probably broke some rules just posting this much, but oh well.
He did post last seasons data for comparison.
That looked like this (Notre Dame overachieved):

2024 Season
1. Ohio St 29
2. Georgia 28
3. Alabama 25
4. Texas 19
5. Oregon 14
6. Texas A&M 13
7. Miami 12
8. Clemson 11
9. Oklahoma 10
10 LSU 9

Explain how you came to this conclusion. Please.

Alabama will be in so much better shape this year than last.

I believe Alabama had zero transfers in the spring transfer portal. The mass exodus occurs when there is a coaching change. It happened at Alabama. It happened at A&M. It happened at LSU. It happens everywhere. Over the past year Alabama has gained much more than they lost.

Caleb Downs is a great player and would start anywhere. But Bond? Undrafted Bond? Bond who would have likely been 2nd string behind Williams and Bernard had he stayed? No, his departure didn’t hurt that much.

Some of these "super blue chips" don't love football and are overpaid and overrated. Just a general comment. Not calling out the names.

Penn State and Auburn having no one transfer out is super impressive in this day and age.

Especially with Auburn since their arse at football

Bond did hurt because it put all emphasis on a 17 year old freshman receiver. As good as Williams was Bernard led our team in receiving and nobody talked about him. He’s good but he wasn’t Bond. Great receivers make mediocre quarterbacks and having him Across from Williams, would have helped, a lot.

Inexperienced meaning, brand new quarterback, several new offensive linemen (3) one being a true freshman, for that brand new quarterback.

I don’t think we have a true number 2 typical Bama RB either. Jam Miller is ok, and he returns but who is number two? Richard Young? Please don’t say him my gosh

We being back less than half of our starters in defense. Jackson was good but not great. Thank hod for Overton leaving the Aggies, and coming here, but we’re not deep at all.

Bama is good when we run the ball and play solid defense. Hell, that’s every NC we’ve wons receipe. Hell that’s practically every teams recipe not named Joe Burrow.

We will be good, but we better get young kids to step up fast. Just facts

No lies detected.

Keep in mind the #7 roster whipped the floor with that #5 roster.

Just goes to show you the parity.
