If it happened, it would probably mean Ole Miss has a great season next year, which I'm sure they'd be thrilled about.

False. As good as Bears is and even though he would absolutely crush it there, Kentucky is too prestigious a program to hire someone with his background

It's not like he did anything remotely as bad as what Beard did, but it's worth pointing out that Cal was already extremely damaged goods when they scooped him up. They just wanna win.

There’s a difference in basketball related stuff (and a good chunk of that is legal now with NIL) and the off-the-court stuff. Barnhart isn’t going to hire someone who’s had off the court issues when he went through that with Gillispie.

Why? They hired Cal after his tenure at UMASS and Memphis.
