That guy enjoyed his time in prison a little too much from what I heard.

Not bragging. That incident was just a metaphor for what happened on the field.

TBob is an idiot. A perfect representation of the Leah fanbase.

Leah was an incredible lay.
Sucks she didn’t want your tiny Bama peen.

It’s not insane. LSU 2003 was my favorite season ever because it seemed like we did the impossible.
Weird, mine were 2015 and 2020.

3 National Championships in 16 years isn’t mediocre.
That's actually borderline elite. Not quite in the same zip code as 6 National Championships in 12 years though.

Alabama never has to feel that. Alabama fans never have to feel that low. They haven't felt that dejected since prior to 2008. They've never once had to ask "is Nick Saban maybe not the answer? Did he just get lucky?"
Your post was very insightful and true in many ways. But I do think there’s something missing from the Alabama experience that LSU and other schools can enjoy. It’s kind of like the Cubs in comparison to the Yankees.
The Cubs had this huge Championship drought that became an identity. They developed a huge following, not based on winning, but based on a shared experience of struggle and hope. They became beloved for the purity of the game and the distant hope that the curses of the past could be erased.
The Yankees developed a following based solely on winning, and fans followed the team based on an expectation of Championships.
Now, I don’t think there’s any doubt that the Cubs fan experienced far more joy and satisfaction in their most recent miracle Championship than the Yankees fan experienced with yet another of many expected Championships.
What team would you rather be a fan of? Answer: The Cubs fan wants to be a Cubs fan, and the Yankee fan wants to be a Yankee fan. The Cubs fan would rather languish in their collective struggle and revel in their collective hope than to ever cheer for the damn Yankees. The Yankee fan would rather win Championships and look down on the rest of the world than to ever root for the sad sack Cubs. And, yet, they are both great organizations with incredibly passionate fans.
I do think there’s a purity in a fan base that endures prolonged periods of struggle that Bama fans are missing, but there’s a superiority that Bama fans enjoy that every other fan base envies.

I dunno as a young adult who didn't really remember any Alabama championship but had heard about all of them ad nauseum from parents and grandparents and didn't think I'd ever actually actual see and feel one......2009 was pretty damn cathartic.

Am I supposed to care what an alcoholic radio host that is still butthurt he was left on the bench while his team was destroyed in the BCSNCG (final game of his career) thinks?

Did any Alabama fans have as fun of a moment this season as did LSU fans watching that Florida win? The simple answer is no
Watching Bama win NC game was a lot of fun. Watching Bama win SEC championship was fun. Watching Bama kick the shite out of Auburn and Tennessee is always fun. Watching Alabama annihilate LSU in “Death Valley” (again) was kind of boring though honestly.

Did he say this on the air or just on Twitter? How is this affecting his radio show? Why TF would he give a rat's arse about your opinion?
