State went 3-0 at Astros park this weekend beating ULL, UH and SHSU. Great pitching all weekend but still can't hit for shite.

State won their final game 4-1 today over Sam Houston. They're 3-0 on the tournament weekend.

I feel for Carolina fans. you did the EXACT same thing LSU did; make your legendary baseball coach AD and promote a terrible assistant as baseball coach. things will get better

So, State and Kentucky goes 6-0 while Vandy goes 1-2 at the Children's Classic in Minute Maid. 7-2 for the SEC.

I'm still feeling good about this hire at Baseball coach. Our 247 insider that follows our baseball team as closely as most beat writers follow their respective FB teams said in a thread before this series that he expects 8-9 position players and 4-5 pitchers to wash out after this year because they have figured out they won't see the field under the new staff.

Great weekend, maybe we can get back on track and have a half-decent season after all. I wasn't able to watch, but I was able to find the play by play feed for the Houston game Saturday. I was up until 1 AM for that one.
