Sumrall hiring Buster Faulkner for OC at Florida

Buster Faulkner is on pace for the all-name SEC team. If he doesn't wear socks like Joe Lee Dunn, he's a shoe-in.

Sumrall making good hires so far

I'm so ashamed that we've made it to the SEC championship game and the playoffs again. Just a horrid football program.

Lagway is no longer much of a dual threat after his injuries. Florida will need to find a dual-threat QB for this system.
Hopefully, Sumrall can keep his hands off of the offense and let Faulkner call plays without interference.

Isn’t Tramell Jones dual threat?

Kirby and Schuman stuffed him in a locker last week…
16-9, 250 total yards to 260 isn't exactly stuffed in a locker

UGA line was -14. The Dawgs looked like shite
Tech played very well, but it was their defense that gave us trouble, not their offense. They had a top offense in the country and scored 9 points on us.
Still, I think Faulkner is a great hire for Florida, and will do very well with the upgraded talent Florida will bring to the table.

Which is a huge key. Fit the system to the players you have, not the players to a system.

I think it's a good hire. When Sumrall was being rumored for Auburn, Faulkner's name was coming up as his OC hire. I think OC and DC hires for Florida are both good fits with Sumrall too.

Lagway is the worst QB I have ever seen in 35 years of watching SEC football. He also got a lot of NIL to suck. I think the kid could throw a better football if he used his throwing foot. Amazes me how stupid the football administration has become there.

Um..Georgia and Tech..very, very, very clear Georgia has a vastly better roster....most Tech guys were not recruited by Georgoa. Georgia is one the premier college programs, Tech is not..not even close to Georgia.
All I hear is schrodinger's coach bashing. Winning = out talented the opponent. Any losses or even grindy wins = the coaches sucked.
Fact is Schumann was great & has coached these guys up all season. If this game had been played week 1 I think Tech scores 25-30 points easily.
Tech is top 40 talent, not top 100, and their team is full of seniors. They also obsess over this game to the point of literally sandbagging other games last season.

Someone needs to come hire Grubb away.

Damn. Prying Faulkner away seems significant. Sumrall ain’t messing around…

This is an absurdly retarded opinion. Just on the Gators we've had much worse recent QB play. Remember Treon Harris?

If Sumrall can get a few pieces in the portal he can win at least 9 next year.

well considering Buster is the OC and only scored 9pts, I would call that a locker stuffing. he did nothing to hold UGA to 16
