From several college football lifers in and around the game. Be productive on first down, run the play clock down to 2-3 seconds and go for it on 4th and short. LINK

Except that almost no one can do these things.

Weirdly I think a more conventional Saban-coached Bama team would be the recipe to beating this year's Alabama team. Run the ball, control the clock, shorten the game, and play good defense when you can. Probably the only way to stop Tua this year is to shorten the number of times he has the ball.
Alabama has played shite defenses in fairness, but still there is no team in the country equipped to just outscore them.

I would say look at what Mizzou did on defense and what Arkansas did on offense.
Dink and dunk to set up big pass plays and run some on Alabama fronts that are expecting the pass. On defense be cautious unless you have great DBs. Tackle in front of you and don't bite on play fakes or there will be a 75 yard TD going against you.

Jay Paterno?
Nobody would know who that clown was if his last name was Smith. Jay Paterno doesn’t know shite about football. He is the poster child for nepotism.

You'd lose 39-31.

It's simple. Fire Emmert over the LSU crap and his cover up of the MSU crimes. Bama will be on probation without a single 5*s to field within a month.

Bamas run defense is not what it used to be. It’s not close. I fully expect teams to start going run heavy to shorten the game and limit Bamas offensive TOP. Yes I saw the graphic about how quickly Bama scores. I’m not used to seeing this type of Bama team. I don’t know what to expect when we play LSU and MSST.

Huh, did it mention anything about a hurricane or an earthquake? Otherwise, I'm not sure anything else would stop them.

...did he leave out " make them turn the ball over", " avoid a track meet" and...." score more points"

How to beat Bama:
1) Safeties play zone. Tackle well.
2) Corners play bump and run.
3) Most likely need to bring in an extra DB.
4) Defensive linemen has to control the line of scrimmage and get pressure with just 4 guys.
5) Linebackers can’t give up yards after contact.
6) Hit a few deep balls that lead to touchdowns.
Barely anyone in the country has the talent to accomplish any of those besides #6
