You’ve got a point. We’ve been pretty lucky in that regard. Always had a guy who was going to be next up...until now anyway.

We are in the same position as Auburn is right now apparently

Maybe Nix starts as a freshman like Lawrence? Can’t imagine Bryant would sign up for that again.

You are a good program but not as good as some think. You've lost less than 4 games twice in the past 12 years, you've won 1 NC over that period, the only one since 1957, 61 years.

If you are going to do and honest analysis of Auburn, you might consider including three appearances in Atlanta with two wins and our other natty appearance where we came up a few seconds short, over that period. If Auburn competes for Atlanta and a playoff next year, will anyone truly be shocked? I don’t think so… It would be right in line with the pattern that auburn has established.

All of that said, I think auburn is at a tipping point… If things don’t come together with an OC, QB and OL, Auburn could be looking at another poor season. Then, you could start seeing that bleed into recruiting and the next thing you know, we are Tennessee wondering what the frick just happened to our program.

Factoid...the barn has the same number of NC's in the past 50 years as BYU,Colorado, and GT. These are the facts and they are documented.

unfortunately, you are correct and we have AU folks that still can't see that....not near as many as there was,though...we are a broken program and our own people caused it

My point was that you are much more likely to lose 4 or 5 games than have a very good season. 10 4 loss seasons vs 2 that were 2 losses or better.

At first I laughed, then thought there may
actually be some legitimacy to that question.
