Is he talking about relegation? Why the hell would the schools not in the top 28 annually ever agree to it?

This is dumb. They need to stop fricking with college football. It was better before we had the playoffs.

That's garbage. Regionalism is why college football works. Fans overwhelmingly want to preserve our leagues. That said, I do favor a twelve game schedule, NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision games ONLY and an expanded playoff.

Pro-rel like Premiere League/Championship? That'd make it more interesting. Top two teams go the playoffs, bottom two go to the lower division.

Lions don't concern themselves with the opinions of sheep IMHO IYAM

I mean if you were making an NFL of college football it would look similar to that.
But I don't want college fb to be NFL.

So the rest of the schools not listed would get no chance of a NC?
Or only 1 team from this league would be eligible?
Or would those that lost in this playoff scenario still be eligible?
Oh man.......

Don’t think they’d have to.
If the 28 break apart with TV money behind it, they’re SOL
But then I guess you tell those teams in the lower tier they can be promoted?

because they could be promoted. Sure, the Mississippi schools from the sec, Kentucky, etc would be butthurt, but, Arkies State, Southern Miss, Memphis, etc would do it b/c they would have a chance to move up .

No way A&M is leaving the SEC to go the West Division with the Longhorns

But why would the Alabamas, Clemsons, etc of the world vote for it?

The south division looks rough, no thanks.

“Based on recent and historical success”
And ATm is in there.
List is shite. Maybe put Baylor, ttech or ok state until they earn big 6 status.
