Agreed, though he had worse issues than “normal” because he got himself into some legal issues (which weren’t really related to drug use all that much). However I’ll just say as far as a tragic drug addict story it has a lot of holes and should not be looked at in the same way as most of those stories.
Including using the drug use as an insult, because I don’t think it was a big enough of a deal to warrant what is usually meant as a heavy handed cut down.

Steve is a grifter and has no moral compass.
He was behind a lot of bad PR targeting Leach during the season then tried to make this health tragedy all about himself. He’s not a good guy. His website is a garbage dump with some real immoral people on staff.

Stop defending Rosebowl. He deserves whatever gets thrown his way.
He's an absolutely shite person and I'm not even talking about his past drug issues. He's a complete attention whore. He used Leach's situation as a giant "look at how important I am moment" and is now back to his old ways of "how dare you do this to my Bulldogs. I'll make you pay!"
I honest to god believe either Mullenboys is an OM fan doing a perfect parody of Rosebowl or they're actually the same person.

How about the daily threads calling for Leachs firing on genespage for years, that Steve supported ? His staff writers making jokes about Leachs health problems and ripping him for coughing ?

Not like that is very different than most “journalists”, I just think he tries to straddle the fence between presenting himself as a down to earth regular guy when he’s just another grifter shock journalist

Let’s not forget his solid staff like Robbie Faulk who constantly berated Leachs coughing as being on purpose to dodge his “tough questions” or when Leach was hospitalized with a respiratory infection and the slimey staff made jokes it was because he was “buzzed up”

I don't care for Steve and think the tweet was dumb but this is a pretty dumb take if genuine. Being a drug addict doesn't mean one can't be a major contributor to society or have thoughts on morality.
